These lenses, which are all designed in Sweden, have all gone through rigorous development, testing and production processes to ensure they satisfy the demands of high-end mirrorless digital capture and high-resolution sensors.
The lens adopts an optical structure of 16 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical elements (orange) and four ED elements (blue). The ultra-wide 20mm focal length is the widest in the Hasselblad X System.* Coupled with an f/3.2 aperture, it offers an extraordinary combination of the widest field of view, and the largest aperture within the Hasselblad medium format system.

With its precise optical design, the XCD 2,5/25V maintains a compact body while offering superior resolution, colour fidelity, and a large aperture. Compared with the XCD 4/21 with an f/4 maximum aperture, the smaller and lighter XCD 2,5/25V boasts an f/2.5 maximum aperture.
The XCD 2,5/25V’s robust close-up capabilities also showcase its exceptional optical quality. Its minimum focusing distance is 25cm with a maximum image scale of 1:5.8. The XCD 38mm f/2.5 V Lens features ten elements in nine groups including three aspherical elements and three ED elements. This lens is both compact and improves light transmittance and suppresses chromatic dispersion.

The upgraded focusing module adopts a linear stepping motor and a lighter, smaller focusing group effectively eliminating any backlash from the lens group moving and, coupled with the PDAF technology of the X2D 100C, this allows the focusing lens group to quickly reach the focusing position and achieve a precise stop. Resulting in fast, flexible, and accurate focusing.
Equivalent to a 22mm focal length, the XCD 4/28P wide-angle lens is only 245g, 43.5mm in length, and features an F4.0 aperture, making it ideal for street photography. With its superior optical design delivering outstanding image quality and precise focusing technology for instant shots, the XCD 4/28P captures a wide range of extraordinary scenes from nature, city streets, and urban architecture. With a 22cm minimum focusing distance and 1:6 magnification, rich close-ups of flowers, cuisine, and much more are effortlessly captured.
XCD 4/28P sports a linear stepping motor and a lighter, smaller focusing lens group. When used with the PDAF technology of X2D 100C, the focusing lens group can quickly reach the focusing position and achieve a precise stop. This results in fast, accurate, and responsive focusing, so your scene is captured before the click of the shutter.
The lens’s small but powerful leaf shutter supports shooting with flash synchronization at all shutter speeds, with flash synchronization up to 1/4000s.
